Artistic Expression Explored
At Golden State Academy, becoming an “Explorer” means discovering and developing the unique gifts, talents, and creativity within every student. Our Arts programs provide students from elementary through high school with opportunities to grow in confidence, expression, collaboration, and performance through engaging programs such as music, choir, dance, drama, visual arts, and digital media. Whether students are stepping onto a stage, performing in an ensemble, creating original artwork, or exploring creative storytelling, our arts community encourages every Explorer to use their creativity to inspire others and build lifelong skills both inside and outside the classroom.

GENERAL MUSIC & CHOIR
In partnership with MUSE, GSA offers a modern, standards-aligned curriculum: theory, history, and composition from the very first week — the children are writing music right away — Singing built in. Built on musicianship, kindness, and consistency.

INSTRUMENT LESSONS & LARGE ENSEMBLE
Every arts-fee student chooses an instrument and takes a weekly lesson in a small group — and from the first week they come together as the Golden State Academy ensemble and play.

PERFORMANCE
The Ensemble becomes your Golden State Academy Orchestra. The ensemble performs at a Golden State Academy gathering and at a local community venue every season. (At least twice a school year).
